KTM TO LAUNCH THE DUKE 390R AN UPDATED 390 DUKE

From what we have heard KTM is bringing out a new and improved version of the KTM Duke 390, which will be lighter , more powerful and more performance concentrated that the existing Duke 390 . The R for KTM signifys what AMG means for Mercedes . The Bike gets an overall boost in performance with minor aesthetic changes.

The Bike will be lighter by a few kilos and this increases the already high power-weight Ratio of the Duke 390 . The Bike will be more track oriented and will have a much more responsive gear shift .The high quality Metzeler Tyres will Remain for providing maximum grip and maneuverability . The Bike gets some aesthetic changes as well , providing a new set of headlamps and side panels, which are lighter than the existing ones. The bike is expected to get a new color scheme as well.

THE KTM DUKE 390R SIDE

The KTM DUKE 390R will be produced locally in India , at the Bajaj Chakan Plant, like most other Dukes . But weather it will hit Indian streets , we will have to wait and see . The bike is mainly made for the European Market and Keeping in mind the Fact that the Duke 390 is just launched , It may take some time for the R to get to India . The Bike is not expected to replace the existing 390 . The 390r will demand a small premium and will be priced Just below the RC 390 in the Duke Line up
